MALPRAXIS

MALPRAXIS™ is a dialogue-heavy sci-fi detective game where you play an experimental medical robot aboard a failing starship. Diagnose patients, investigate suspicious incidents and piece together what is happening to the crew.

You are S.P.I.D.E.R., an experimental medical robot aboard the TRH Rusanov. Investigate suspicious incidents, examine patients and use your medical systems to piece together what is happening as order aboard the ship begins to collapse.

You cannot stop what is happening.

The time of ASCENSION dawns.
// PATIENT CRITICAL
Most of the time, patients land on your table when it is already too late. All you can do is to determine, how they died.

There are rare case, where you can intervene. Where you get the chance to prevent one more meaningful meaningless death.

In those cases, you have to pull out all the stops to keep your patients breathing.

• Administer drugs to manipulate stabilise vital function

• Deploy the defibrillator to hopefully restore cardiac activity

• Use mission specific tools like the surgical laser where authorised

// PATIENT STABILISED

Diagnose their condition using a suite of medical systems:

• Advanced "X-RAY" scanner with multi-layer imaging and pinpoint accuracy

• High-resolution camera with up to 8x magnification

• Blood sampling with full-spectrum analysis

• Integrated investigation software

• Identify the underlying issue, deliver your misdiagnosis diagnosis, and uncover the consequences of your actions in detailed post-operation reports.

// NEW QUERY UNLOCKED

The objective-driven investigation system guides you through diagnosis, emergency procedures, and the many autopsies you will perform.

Answer the queries asked of you by medical staff, patients, and third parties calling into the operating room.

S.P.I.D.E.R units do not make mistakes. Error tolerance is limited.
